5400 Runt J4 series has a tanto style 154-CM 1-7/8" California legal blade (black finish, plain). The black anodized handles are milled from T-6061 aircraft aluminum. Despite the knife's small size it feels very good in the hand (it feels much bigger than it is) and has superb action. It opens like a rocket and locks up solid. The Runt J4 also has a black coated pocket clip.

I'm a knife guy that lives in Arizona and now I'm going to California and I still want to carry a cool auto knife but I want to be legal. This is the HQ blade I picked out. Like I have said before, I like 154-CM steel. It can do any job and can resharpen to new. And Pro-tech is right there quick. So when I got back to Arizona, I found it hard to give this knife up as my EDC.
