Description

Description

The TR-4 is a whole new take on Protech's popular Tactical Response line. It incorporates a much requested sliding safety on the front of the handle. This TR-4 features a 4" black DLC finished CPM-D2 steel blade with a plain edge. The ergonomic handle is black anodized T6 aluminum with a grippy "Feather" texture. The TR-4 is a knife that will not let you down. It fires hard, locks up like a rock (what else would you expect from Pro-Tech?) and feels great. The TR-4 has a pocket clip (tip up) on the back of the knife for easy carry. Also includes a black nylon sheath.

I have had high end knives, custom and production. The action, lockup, ergos, etc. are incredible! But for me the real winner was the CPM D2 with the heat treat they use. Performs VERY differently than standard D2, plus MUCH tougher! That on top of great blade geometry make this knife an instant favorite. I have to buy another!!

The CPM D2 with this HT is so user friendly, gets razor sharp, holds a great edge, and is very tough! I am going to hold out for the CPM D2, do not want 154CM anymore. Even though the Protech 154CM is quite good. Their CPM D2 is off the charts, as far as well rounded, EDC steel.
