Description:
The QSP Penguin is probably the best EDC knife you can get for the money. The blade is made of D2 tool steel, and has a sheepsfoot blade shape with a straight edge. The handle is made of brass that has a satisfying weight to it and is very sturdy. The deep carry pocket clip loops over and screws in behind the scale, making the knife slide in and out of pockets easily. The Penguin opens using the dual thumb studs and the copper washers.
This was my first knife I bought for EDC (Although I bought the black blade variant). This is on copper washers and it feels so smooth to flick open and close. If you're a lefty, the deep carry pocket clip can be moved. Also, this little knife is heavy, not so much that your pants will sag, but noticeable compared to other pocket knives. The extra weight on this from the brass feels very nice to hold. Very sharp right out of the box. Overall great knife especially for this price, same with the micarta versions of the qsp penguins.
