Features:100% recommend it. Im a little late to the party but I picked one up at bladeshow and couldn't put it down. the action is incredible. I could have walked away with a newer sleeker model but the action on the k2 is perfect
I purchased one of these knife from the bargain bin. This knife's action is absolutely smooth. It came hair cutting sharp. I cut myself when closing the blade, my thumb was too far down. Now it is officially mine. I love the texture on the handle. It looks like a custom knife for sure. Overall great knife, will be purchasing more from Reate Knives.
I've had this knife for over a year now, and I love carrying/using this knife as much now as the day I picked it up.
The action on this knife is fantastic, flips great without too much force required, falls shut hydraulically, fit and finish is excellent in almost every way, the finish on the handles is a bit darker in person which i like. My only issue with the knife is at the base of the edge where the sharpening choil is formed, the edge becomes much thicker and is actually noticeably flat in the shape of a small, thin, triangle along the edge, it could be sharpened out with time and i have an edge pro, but with this being a tanto i probably won't bother and it's not enough of an issue to send it back or anything, the rest of the blade is razor sharp and consistent. The knife is large but surprisingly light with pockets milled on the insides of the handles. overall a great blade, the most expensive knife in my collection thus far and aside from the one hiccup with the blade i think i will be buying from Reate again.
This knife is absolutely beautiful. You’d think it was a custom knife. Feels fine in the pocket. My scale says 4.7 oz. Reate builds very fine knives indeed. The flipping action is very smooth. Stunning knife!
