Description:

If you boil the design of a bushcraft knife to only its essentials, and then make it out of the best materials for the job, you end up with the Reiff Knives F4 fixed blade knife. Full tang construction gives you the power you need for any task and CPM 3V top-shelf carbon blade steel maximizes toughness while minimizing the need for sharpening. To top off the F4, weatherproof G-10 handle scales give you the best grip in any condition. The bottom line: this survival knife is sharp enough to shave your arm, tough enough to baton knotty hardwoods, large enough to hold in gloved hands, and light enough to carry for miles. Whatever your adventure, the F4 is a perfect companion.

Many knives can help you survive, but Reiff Knives can do better than survive!

I didn't wanna like it...

So after I got over the initial sticker shock, I was excited about getting the knife. It arrived from Blade HQ super quick. Out of the box my initial impressions were I fell for the hype. I was kind of mad but hey- that is on me. I had a big camping trip set for the upcoming weekend and figured I would take it out and really thrash the ever-loving heck out of it because I was mad at it (stupid I know). Well it was this same stupidity that allowed me to do things to this knife that I would never do to my others. Not only did it do everything great (baton, feather sticks, blah, blah) it was still paper slicing, hair popping sharp! But here is the real why I love this knife now- the company and the CEO. Stu absolutely backs his product and personally takes the time to talk to you and follow-up with you about the knife and your interaction with it. It is because of this that I will absolutely be getting either there F6 or F3 in the near future! To sum it up, it is an outstanding heirloom quality tool that absolutely stands out in its rugged simplicity and will get the job done!
