This version of the 1707s is outfitted with a blue anodized titanium handle and a satin finished clip point blade. The 1707s is similar in design to the 1507s, but with a one-piece integral handle. This ultra-modern design is accentuated by a slim, narrow handle that slides comfortably into the hand or pocket. The blade flows cleanly out of the handle and features a flipper opener and titanium thumb studs. A titanium pocket clip and glass breaker/striker round out the design.
Features:
No complaints. Great attention to detail, beautiful anodization, QC is perfect. Glassbreaker started getting loose after a couple hours in the pocket, so make sure to loctite it.
Pros: -blade finish -comfortable grip -has a glass breaker Cons: -finish on the lock bar area -no jimping or anything else to give your thumb resistance while holding -the detent is very strong and with the way, it's designed the detent hole and the line of travel of detention are really visible when the blade is open. Other thoughts: -I never had a knife with this kind of handle before, but the blue only pops when it's in white light, in sunlight it's purplish. -I think there are cooler/better knives out there for the price -@bladehq On the photo the bearing screw is anodized as well, when in fact it's not. I also checked Rike's official website and it in fact is not anodized.
