This Schrade SC60BS is a fast-action automatic knife. It has been converted in-house with superior coil springs and attention to detail. The spear point style blade on the SC60BS has a black finish and partially serrated edge along with a notched thumb ramp for improved control. Its handle is black coated aluminum with ergo-friendly scalloped finger grooves. The SC60 includes a tip-up carry pocket clip with a large diameter glass breaker tip.

Note: Knife may have light marks on the blade or handle from the conversion process.

Knife action/finish quality
Since September 2013 and February 2014 I did buy 3 auto knifes at bladeHQ. A very good S&W Extreme Ops; an excellent Boker Kalashnikov 74 and a VERY BAD Schrade SC60B plain blade. All the 3 actions are working fine, the blades has good edges but while the finish of the Boker and S&W still are in good conditions, the Schrade finish fall out in a miserable way. The Kershaw Launch 3 is in my wishlist.

This is a fast reliable auto, with an awful safety.
Solid, snappy, amazing for price

Very snappy, load, opening. Plunger button was a little stiff but got better after the first day. Came with a useable blade. Handle feels light, but solid plastic. Most comfortable folder to hold I own, fits very well in the hand.

The thumb grooves on the spine are weak and smooth (useless), I'll deepen them later.

Everyone should have this knife. Amazing.
