I truly can't believe the quality for the price
Michael Z.
I ordered one of these for $24.99 to get a feel for Schrade's chops when it comes to automatics. Conclusion: they have some serious chops. Shipping was fast and this knife is razor sharp right from the box with no visible tool marks. I've owned a few Microtechs and, although the machine work on the Micro's is clearly better, it doesn't justify their cost.

Keep in mind: this knife is small. It's a great little knife that looks like a small folder but one click exposes the razor sharp blade. I really don't like using the word "cute" but there isn't really another word for one of these Schrade Mini Extremes. The fact that they're available in just about every (tactical) color and blade combo makes me want to buy a few more.

As for BladeHQ themselves, they're top-notch. Shipping notifications go out so fast it feels like I ordered from Amazon. I first did business with BladeHQ 12 years ago when I bought a Microtech Halo III. In the time since, they've been my go-to recommendation for friends and colleagues looking for a the best place to buy a knife.
