Its handle is black coated aluminum with ergo-friendly scalloped finger grooves. The SC60M includes a tip-up carry pocket clip with a large diameter glass breaker tip.

Note: Knife may have light marks on the blade or handle from the conversion process.

This is a GREAT "pocket auto" & price can't be beat!

Full disclosure: I'm NOT a knife expert (nor am I a "steel snob"), but I AM an old VN vet with an obsession for could say I'm a knife whore. I'd never bought an auto--mainly because the prices kept me from trying one out--and then I found BHQ's great prices on autos. I bought the 3.25" Boker Kalashnikov and this 2.5" Schrade to see which size I liked best. I love them BOTH.
This Schrade slips into that pocket like a thief, comes out and open with an authoritative SNAP! you don't expect from a smaller knife. The BHQ spring upgrade has a lot to do with that, I'm sure.
The previous reviewer calls this knife a "Gentleman's Tactical" and that's appropriate. It can ride in a suit pocket when needed or even a deep watch pocket in your jeans for a great EDC.
I highly recommend this auto if you're not hung up on having a full-size blade.....or maybe keeping both to cover all bets. Seriously, for less than $20 you can have a really GREAT auto! I don't think it's the last one I'll be buying, to be honest.

Got this for EDC in a suit pocket. Its light weight and smaller size makes it practically vanish in the inside jacket pocket.

Sturdy, quick, with immaculate blade centering and a firm lockup, I like the button lock for safety.

Great for light work around the office. Ideal for opening packages cutting twine, prying small staples, slitting envelopes and other chores.

Do I actually need an auto for these tasks? Nah. But it's legal here and I like it, so what the heck? :-D
