The SCH001S knife from Schrade can handle tactical duty and everyday carry equally well. The handle is lightweight ABS & TPE molded with a honeycomb motif on the faces. Stainless steel liners add strength and rigidity for the more demanding chores. It has a black finished, partially serrated steel drop point style blade with a flipper and thumb stud opener. The SCH001S is EDC ready with a tip-down carry pocket clip.

Don't let the price on this one fool you. This is a solid knife. I actually own 2 of these. My first one is on my firefighter turnout gear. I have used it for doing everything from opening a box, busting out a window, popping a tire for stabilization, cutting a seatbelt, slicing cheese, even cutting calzone. I bought my first one at an auto parts store. I like the knife so much I wanted one for an EDC, so I ordered from here. Now that they are listed as discontinued, I might by a couple more as backups.
