If you like the Boker Magnum series then you'll love the Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops SW50 automatic knives. These knives feature great quality and action at a low price.
The SW50BTS has a black finished 440 stainless steel tanto style blade with a partially serrated edge. The black coated aluminum handle features grooves to increase grip and a tip-down stainless steel pocket clip for easy carry. The push button quickly deploys the blade and this new version of the SW50 has a front mounted safety!
Don't carry this knife in your pocket hoping the lock will prevent the blade from accidentally opening. The lock on my knife works best at preventing me from closing the knife easily one handed. I fixed the problem by pulling the lock out of the knife with needle nose pliers. I can use the knife one handed. If I lose it, well it didn't cost much. It gets used more than my Microtech, or Gaurdian tactical OTF D/A knives as I don't mind abusing it. So far so good.
Bought this to replace an 8 year old SW50TS, made before S&W bought Taylor brands. Knife quality is nothing like the older model. Much lighter weight and feels very cheap compared to previous Extreme OPs knives. Used this knife 3 times, safety slider fell out. Returned less than a week after purchase. Unfortunately, it appears as though S&W has ruined a very good product line.
