Gayle Bradley started making knives in 1988 and it became his day job in 2002. Best known for his hard-use knife designs that win World Cutting Competitions, his Air folder establishes him in the world of lightweight production gent’s knives. The Air is light as air with a featherweight glass fiber handle, titanium skeletonized internal liners and Michael Walker LinerLock. The blade is Crucible’s version of tool steel called CPM-M4. It incorporates their CPM-powdered metal manufacturing process in a tool steel with a super consistent steel-grain structure, vaulting the steel’s already impressive impact resistance to even greater heights.
As my title suggests, your unlikely to find the Air on here. You'll have to scour the secondary market. If you find a good deal, its not bad to overlook it. I payed $150 on Ebay. It makes a compelling gentleman's carry. If you have a pocket slip, throw this guy in there and ride with style. This is a really tiny knife so be prepared to secure it or you might lose it. CPM M4 is meant to cut and with the warncliffe blade, this is a perfect knife for slicing thru envelopes, pakages, etc. So if you can find it and want to start a gentleman's carry rotation, the Gayle Bradley Air is a good choice.
