This Efficient model has a plain edged satin blade and a green G-10 handle.
The Efficient is a great addition to Spyderco's Value Folder family of affordably priced knives. It features a compact, ergonomic design centered around a full-flat ground drop point blade made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. Textured G-10 scales offer a secure grip during everyday use. Includes a reversible hourglass clip configured for tip-up carry.
I'm knew to knife collecting and this is my first Spyderco knife and I'm super happy with it.
This is my first Spyderco knife and I love it. It came razor sharp out of the box. You can also flick it easily. I would suggest buying it.
I give 5 star because it came with the box in quite nice shape and it was fairly sharp out of the box, while it was unlubricated out of the box that was no issue, when taking off the backspacer it does gain some blade play after disassembly and reassembly but no be fooled is great, love, first spyderco and definetly swayed me, while i wish they couldve used copper washers like on the tenacious the current ones work just fine. Overall 5 star did not dissapoint, i absolutely love the 3 inch blade good for about everything.
The Efficient is a solid choice if you want a Spyderco Para style knife without breaking the bank. I picked one up to keep in the car and it made it into my EDC rotation. Feels good in the hand and came razor sharp. It’s Spyderco quality at reasonable price, plus I think it looks cool.
The Spyderco box this knife came in was badly damaged, and not by shipping. I keep the boxes for the knives in my collection in case I sell the knife, so it’s condition is important to me. The knife itself has a stain on one of the scales. About a quarter inch square. It looks like it might be oil, but it wouldn’t wipe off with a dry cloth. My first thought was, is it used, or display model?
