Description

This Spyderco Endura knife has a Glow-In-The-Dark Zome Green FRN handle and a full-flat ground VG-10 stainless steel blade that is black finished with a plain cutting edge.

The Endura knife features a molded FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle with Bi-Directional texturing for traction and improved ergonomics. The handle is strengthened with dual skeletonized stainless steel liners that make an anchor for all external and internal components to attach while adding sturdiness and rigidity. Phosphor bronze bushings on the blade pivot smooth out the open/close action. The pocket clip is four-way reversible for tip-up/down, left- or right-handed carry.

The Endura is a larger version of the Spyderco Delica knife. Both knives have been extremely popular over the years thanks to their lightweight, high performance build and affordable price.

Great knife. I'm especially fond of the handle length and shape, how my hand fits it. Plenty of room there to spare. I like the black-coated blade, it's length, its edge. I can only thumb my blade open slowly, not able to flick it, but I guess I could attempt to loosen the pivot a bit. The feel of the FRN has really grown on me. It feels pretty secure in hand. I'm fond of the black and green mottled pattern and the glow in the dark scales are a nice little bonus. I could see maybe some folks might be happy with a slightly shorter blade, or even handle length, but like I said, they work for me. Only other complain? The back lock is not a compression lock, so if you attempt to close this knife with one hand by depressing the bar and then whipping the blade downward, be aware that you can cut yourself. I do prefer the compression lock for that reason. It's just safer. Also, I would say the PM3 is the better all-around knife if you have a choice between the two and you don't require the extra blade length that the Endura has. Nonetheless, this is a great, all-around knife.
got this a a gift from my redneck cousin.
