My wish knife.

I don't own this knife but I want it. Look it's a Spyderco and that equals quality. Unlike most of Spyderco designs this is dripping with cool and still functional. Some day.
This knife saved the day!

This knife lives in the main leather jacket that I take with me everywhere. I have found this knife perfect for EDC, no matter what the occasion- from motorcycle camping trips to fancy bars with the missus.

A few weeks ago, I attended a birthday event where the birthday girl and her friends had been gin tasting at a gin distillery on an empty stomach. It was fair to say they were three sheets to the wind. They had ordered two large cheese platters (with other assorted pates, cured meats and bread) to rectify their hunger. When the platters were served, they were served without any cutlery. It was a busy night and no staff were in sight. I pulled out my Gentleman Jack, and it was used by all to cut and serve the food. Because of its size, it is non offensive/scary in these types of environments. Not only was it a conversation piece, but it saved these people from drunken starvation.

I bought my mate the same knife, and both are engraved in commemoration of our fifth motorcycle trip together.

It is a beautiful knife to behold, and stays razor sharp for a surprisingly long time.
Perfect Gentleman's Carry

This is a stunning addition to my gentleman's carry rotation. You'll have to give it some TLC before it will flick reliably for you though. The wire clip and smooth G10 are easy on your pocket unlike some other Spydercos I own. The best part about this knife, is the backspacer. Its so drop dead gorgeous!. The pictures don't do any justice. To round the knife out, there is a great steel (S30V) which will hold an edge for a good long while. The ergos are also pretty good. Couple of downsides to the knife. Like other Taiwan produced Spydercos, the spydie hole is sharp. Just take a dremel tool to chamfer it. Additionally and this pertains to disassembly. The right pivot does not turn its captive. I almost stripped it trying to dissemble it. So if you do plan on taking it apart, take off the left pivot screw and then take a punch thru the knife to push out the right one.

Again though, this is a beautiful and functional knife.
