Perfect Gentleman's Carry
Ryan W.
This is a stunning addition to my gentleman's carry rotation. You'll have to give it some TLC before it will flick reliably for you though. The wire clip and smooth G10 are easy on your pocket unlike some other Spydercos I own. The best part about this knife, is the backspacer. Its so drop dead gorgeous!. The pictures don't do any justice. To round the knife out, there is a great steel (S30V) which will hold an edge for a good long while. The ergos are also pretty good. Couple of downsides to the knife. Like other Taiwan produced Spydercos, the spydie hole is sharp. Just take a dremel tool to chamfer it. Additionally and this pertains to disassembly. The right pivot does not turn its captive. I almost stripped it trying to dissemble it. So if you do plan on taking it apart, take off the left pivot screw and then take a punch thru the knife to push out the right one.

Again though, this is a beautiful and functional knife.
