Spyderco Para 3 Lightweight Comp Lock Folding Knife Black LW (3" Black Serr)

  • Black finished blade made from CTS-BD1N steel.
  • Ambidextrous thumb hole opener.
  • Textured black FRN handle with satin hardware.

The Spyderco Para 3 made a name for itself as one of the best EDC knives out there, and the Para 3 Lightweight made it even better! It is a joy to operate, and thanks to the bi-directional texturing of its FRN handle, it is lighter and grippier than ever. Instead of the classic spoon clip, Spyderco employed a wire clip that is gentler on your pocket, carries much deeper, and further reduces the weight. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better ultra-light folder anywhere, so slip this guy into your pocket and learn what it means to EDC with ease!

If you like this model, we guarantee you'll enjoy our other Spyderco Para 3 folding knife variations. We offer a range of different handles, blade finishes, and blade steels.

Para 2 performance in a lighter package
Cody B. on Oct 6, 2020

So far this knife has been awesome. Razor sharp out of the box with a pretty smooth action. I love the compression lock, with a little practice you can have it opened and closed one handed no problem. It's so light you barely notice its in your pocket but doesn't feel cheap. This was my first knife with FRN handles and so far I have no complaints with the material. This is also my first daily carry knife with full serrations (I usually prefer partially serrated knives for EDC) and have not yet ran in a scenario that I felt the full serrated blade wasnt well suited to handle. My only complaint is the wire clip, Its a little easy to snag and wasnt very tight out of the box. Removed and adjusted it and it functions much better now. I do however like that its deep carry. All in all its a great EDC that I feel will last a long time.
