This Spyderco Tenacious C122 Limited Run features a blue G-10 laminate handle and satin finished blade with a plain edge. Tucked under the G10 scales are skeletonized steel liners increasing the handle’s rigidity and strength without adding non-functioning weight or bulky thickness. The 8Cr13Mov stainless blade is leaf-shaped and ground flat from spine to cutting edge for cutting performance. The blade’s shape coupled with an over sized Spyderco Round Hole and textured spine jimping allow you to open the blade and position your thumb on the spine in slip-proof confidence ready for work. A Walker Linerlock (with jimped liner) and a 4-way pocket clip lets you set your carry and draw preference: Tip-up/tip-down left-hand/right-hand. Screw together construction.
I really didn’t like Byrd knives because I really dislike the deployment hole. I think Spyderco really knocked it out of the park when they started making value knives under the Spyderco name rather than under the Byrd brand name. This knife is a great value knife! Need a beater knife but want something visually similar to other Spyderco knives? This knife has you covered. The Tenacious fits the medium size in this line of knives (it’s siblings being the Resilience, Persistence, and Ambitious). This was my second Spyderco knife, and the fact that it is blue is even more awesome. Performs well, opens smoothly and was razor sharp upon receiving.
Great Sprint Run Knife for my collection. Sold my black one and replaced it with this.
I love the blue but it's not as deep a blue as pictured.

Great little knife. I loved using it, ergos where spot on, and easy to sharpen. My girlfriend loved it so much she has now claimed it as her own.
