This Sprint Run Urban features a textured gray FRN handle and a full-flat ground K390 premium stainless steel blade. The blade has notching, or jimping at the index choil and on the spine thumb ramp for great user control. The screw handle construction allows the user to clean and adjust their knife. Item includes a reversible tip-up wire pocket clip.

The Urban knife from Spyderco is a Slipit, which means the blade doesn't lock open. The non-locking pocket knife has grown in popularity in large part because of ever tightening legislation regarding permissible knives in large metropolitan areas.

My EDC of choice

I have a knife collection with all the major brands. Over the years, I've carried them all and I never imagined I would like a small non-locking blade as much as I like the Spyderco Urban. It's super lightweight, I don't even notice it's there. The blade is a good size for edc and the steel keeps a nice edge and sharpens up nicely. Even though it's non-locking I never feel that it's going to close on me by accident. The form factor is non-threatening to most people and the non-locking blade means it's legal in most places without having to worry. I thought I had lost it last week when it fell between the cushions of my couch. I found that I really missed it and was about to purchase another before finding it again - I've never had that impulse with any other knife. This one is a keeper.
