Its recurved tanto style blade has a unique profile and a deep hollow grind, giving it a stand-out look and feel. Blue anodized titanium scales feature a dark blue border and carbon fiber inlays, which provide visual contrast. The Vrango is outfitted with a reversible tip-down stainless steel pocket clip for everyday carry.

Business in the front, party in the back

I love this knife it can work as a EDC or a gentlemanís folder in my opinion. The blade shape is shape is really practical and works great for a bunch of different tasks. But at the same time it doesnít just use that leaf shaped blade that although super useful is kind of plain Jane. The handle is where the party is at though that blue anodized titanium is very aesthetically appealing and if you didnít know better you could easily mistake this knife for an integral because of how seamless the gap between the handle scales and the titanium backspacer is. Also this knife is really more of a sub framelock than a liner lock as far as I can tell which in my opinion adds to its cool factor. Then there is that carbon fiber inlay. It is gorgeous, the way that the light plays off it adds a lot of contrast to the titanium and makes this knif super eye catching!

If you are looking for a small knife that is just as at home in a suit pocket as it is in a jeans pocket, pick this one up before they are gone forever!

Put your "issues" with size to the side and buy one of these! Whether you are a Sypderco collector or your collection is more broad, it is likely that you do not have anything quite like the Vrango in your collection and you need to, if only to admire the fit, finish and unique blade shape all of which are exquisite! Without getting too long winded, I need to put a shout out to Jamie in Customer Service: I will admit to having some trepidation regarding the size of this piece. I happen to have a Chaparral in my pocket so tossed a note to Jamie (late night on the east coast) and asked him if there was any way he could snap a picture of the Vrango and Chaparral side by side. In less than 5 minutes (literally) he had images in my in-box of the two. I was nearly convinced that I was going to pop on one of the Vrango's, but this sealed the deal. Well done Jamie, well done - AS USUAL BHQ........and well done Taichung mfg'd Spyderco's!! Unless you all snap up the remaining inventory first, I may grab another just to "put away".
