The Tex Creek XL fixed blade is a larger version of the original Tex Creek knife. It's designed as a rugged tribute to the men and women who hunt and fish in the Tex Creek area of southeast Idaho. TOPS Knives designer Leo Espinoza created a new blade finish for this knife. TOPS calls it the "black river wash." The uncoated 1095 steel blade has a darkened finish along the edge where the blade has been heat treated. It's a unique look that gives this knife a worn in look and ready-to-work attitude. Because of the nature of the finish, each knife will look slightly different than the one pictured above.
This knife has a full-tang handle with black canvas Micarta scales and an oversized lanyard hole. The Tex Creek comes with a premium leather sheath.
