Riding on the success of the Odino folder, Viper Knives and Jesper Voxnaes have teamed on the Kyomi flipper. It's an exciting model that showcases Jesper's design prowess and has the boon of a flipper opener.
This model has a stonewash finished Bohler N690Co stainless steel blade with a practical drop point profile. The handle has a orange G-10 front and a 6Al4V titanium frame lock with a CNC machined pocket clip along with a clever lanyard slot that's integrated into the blue anodized titanium back spacer. Viper Knives has paired the Kyomi's flipper with a ball-bearing pivot for delightfully smooth action.
I bought, this to replace a spyderco techno that I left on a table at a coffee shop. (Somebody got a really nice knife) I thought the high vis "orange" might help me from loosing it! I love the size, and blade shape. Now for the bad. I've had 440A blades that held an edge longer. I get it razor-shaving sharp. After cutting a couple of sides of a box down; dull as a butter knife. I'm going to try the spyderco paramillitary II in sv110.
