I mean, really? Yes, D2 is not a "super steel", but it's really darned solid. The build quality is just top-notch; I have way more expensive knives that have neither the fit and finish nor the buttery action of this sexy knife. The modified harpoon point adds some flair and interest to the knife, as well as increased tip strength, for the "pierce a car door for sport" crowd. Overall, I just can't think of a down side to this knife. WE is definitely producing stuff that should scare the fertilizer out of ZT, Benchmade, and Spyderco. You just can't go wrong with this knife, if you're in the market for something fairly big, stabby, and exceptionally well-made.

Really pleased with the fit/ finish and action of this piece. Definitely has a mid-tech feel without the mid-tech price. Blade is dead center and sharp, flips like a champ, and detent (on all WE Knives for that matter) is first class. Liners are black, so they fade into the G10...nice touch. Great value, and love the harpoon blade...not too many folks can pull off that look and WE has done it very well.
