The first thing that attracted me was the design - it is slightly reminiscent of a razor. I just had to have it.
And I don't regret it one bit.

It's nearly as sharp as a razor (and you could, conceivably, make it just as sharp, because the M390 is just that good of a steel), and the edge is way, way more durable.
When I received it, there was a microscopic burr on the edge near the tip, but a gentle buff with a green DMT took care of that immediately. Can't really blame the manufacturer, as I use a re-shipper and asked them to take it out and photograph it before shipping - for insurance reasons - so it could have happened there, or at customs, who knows.

The handle/liner piece looks very elegant, sleek, and is deceptively light. That makes this knife a bit blade-heavy, but if you're not planning on throwing it, it doesn't matter. The lock integrated into the liner (it's all one piece with the handle) works very smoothly, doesn't stick, and the whole knife gives off an aura of superior (production) craftsmanship.

I have one minor concern - the clip. It's titanium as well, and pretty flexible, but I'm wondering if it may break off at some point, because it looks a mite thin. For now, it works perfectly, holds the knife tight, and has enough flex to get it even over thick pocket edges.

If you've thought about this knife and are hesitating, stop.
Get it now.

Edit:

After two days of carrying, the thumb stud stopped working. I can still open the knife using the thumb stud when I grip the handle with one hand and use the other to open the knife, but one-handed open is a no-go.

In the closed position, the back of the blade sticks out of the handle just enough for me to be able to grip it between my pinky and ring finger, and my thumb, and once the blade is opened a bit, I can shift back to the thumb stud and finish opening it, but the speed and ease of opening is gone.

I lubricated the joint with WD-40 even before I first opened it, though it was apparently lubed from production, just to be extra safe (I know, I should have specialized knife lube, but...)
Don't know what happened; there is nothing wedged in, no obstruction, not even dust accumulated, and opening the knife by the blade doesn't yield any more noticeable resistance.

And, of course, shipping the whole thing back over the ocean to have it checked could even exceed the purchase price.

One star down for this.
Also, sad.
Amazing

This knife works like a dream right out of the box. I have about 25 knife from 150-700 and other then my medford it is the best made IMO and looks great. Opens and closes like a dream. Just the right size, weight and shape for my hand. Zero blade play no hot spots and sharp as hell. I'm going to have to get another to use and lock this one up in a case. What is the kicker you might ask made in China. Know i have to take back everything i was thinking and look at China as having some true Knife makers. The star shaped screws might make it so you can't open it but as of now i never see a need too and they give the knife that extra touch too make it Amazing. I never do reviews on knifes bad or good but i wish everyone had a chance to hold this and see it for how great i think it is.
