It’s pretty clear that the WE Knife Company didn’t poach any of their Quality Control staff from the big name American knifemakers. Unlike them, all of my WE knives came impeccably constructed and tuned for performance. Honestly, if WE was based in the US, it would immediately become the best production knife company in the country. Now on to the Evoke. Amazing knife, I’m in love. The bronzed titanium scales are expertly produced and milled, just grippy enough but smooth on the pocket. Action is crisp with the thumbstud and lockup is a vault. The blade finish is smooth and even. The blade itself is fantastic, relatively thin blade stock ground to a perfect factory edge like a razor. Great blade profile. Overall just an amazing knife for the price. If I could change anything, it would be to make the pocket clip deep-carry, but it carries plenty low enough anyway. Like many of you, I want to prefer an American knife maker, but I just can’t argue with the quality coming out of this Chinese company. They are the best out-of-the-box knives I’ve ever bought, in high-end materials at a great price.
