The WE Knife Co. "ÆternA" is a Japanese Honesuki inspired design by Elijah Isham that was revealed at Blade Show 2018! It features a curved vertebral integral titanium handle with carbon fiber inlays and a lateral bolsterlock mechanism. The blade is made from M390 steel, and has an elongated cutout and a flipper opener.
I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this is knocking on the door of custom-quality knives like Olamic and CKF. The materials are top-tier. The fit and finish is top-tier. The ergonomics are inspired and actually remind me a lot of the fabled SpydieChef, what with the trailing grip and thin, slicey blade.. And of course, the knife is gorgeous. About the only thing I can fault it on is that the milled pocket clip rides a little awkwardly in dress pants. The price you pay for style, I guess. I bought this back in 2019 and since then it quickly ascended to one of my favorite knives in my collection, and a frequent flyer in my EDC rotation. The only thing that keeps it from the top spot is my Benchmade 87.
Outstanding design and manufacturing quality
without a doubt this is a beautiful design with excellent materials and the quality you can expect from WE. the only problem with this knife is that it has not become available yet.
I neeeeddddd this knifeeee, my pleroma is so lonely
Super clean design. If you have big hands this isn't the knife for you. The flipping tab is a bit small so -1 points for that.
