Customer Reviews

Very nice!
Chad F. on May 14, 2017

I don't abuse it so I can't really say how durable the Elmax is however for my light edc cardboard, twine, box strap and food cutting duties it holds up just fine. I'm a huge carbon fiber fan, I have a 0552cf as well and love it however on the 0770 I really like the 3D lines on the aluminum model that I wish the 0770cf had and I would've went that route. Anyway fit and finish is typical ZT but more lightweight than most others, still solid with no play whatsoever. I like the really low pro flip lever on this, flips open fast, smooth & easy but looks good and not obtrusive. The one and only con which is very minor for me is that there's no grip on the scales so just have to make sure you holding it firmly so it doesn't slip, something you should be doing anyway. This thing reminds me of a Ferrari, gets me my fix from not having a 777...

ZT 0770

Just rec'd my 77 and it's awesome. Ordered on Friday night and got it Monday morning. Unbelievable! My favorite EDC is certainly not my most expensive. It's the greatly underated Kershaw Camber. This knife is almost identical, but with better amenities. Simply perfect!

great knife

there are several reviews of this knife online, but I wanted to mention that the newer production models have the large pivot and one piece back spacer as seen on the CF version. Very pleasantly surprised when I opened mine up. Great knife and superb service from bladehq.

jt flipper

Very well made and sharp, flipper is a little stiff but they did say it will loosen up some with use. Very happy with Blade HQ quick service.

Mehh, it's ok.

Arrived on time. Fast shipping, thanks bladehq for that. I wasn't sure to give this 4 stars so I'm giving it 3. Honestly I rate it a 3.5. First off it isn't verry sharp out of the box, I could get a couple hairs off my arm with a little work, but that's about it, and that's disappointing for a ZT. So I take half a star off for that. The one other complaint I have is the liner lock sucks. It takes way too much pressure to disengage it. I've got pretty tough fingers and have broken in some pretty rough and cheap knock-off knives, but this lock leaves a deep indent in my thumb every time I disengage it. It's worn through my calluses and left my thumb sore. It could also use some jimping on the lock. Also one MINOR gripe, when closed, the blade isn't perfectly centered. Not bad, but noticeable if your looking for it. Those are my cons. The good news is the flipping action is phenomenal! Not stiff at all. This is my first assisted action and I like it. The knife has a verry solid feel to it. The stonewashed blade is great, I can't leave a finger print on it and it looks verry classy. And the blade I received is ELMAX, so that was a nice surprise. Except I've heard it's hard to sharpen and it needs to be sharpened sooo.... I guess we'll see. I do only live about 25 mins from Kershaw/ZT factory, maybe I'll take it in and see what they can do if anything to it. All in all though, even for the price I would not buy again or recommend it to others. But I won't be returning it either, it carries great and is lightning fast to deploy with a nice "Thwack!"
