great version of a standard paring knife

We already have the 4" version of this Pro paring knife. It was a little long for my wife's preference to control. I had thought the 3" would be too short and that's why we started with the 4" as we put together a Pro set. If the knife is for your wife, don't. The 3" is plenty of knife to get the typical jobs done. And it's safer and easier for her to control. She has already had a couple of nicks from the 4".
