A SWAT team member asked Jim if he could design a tool that would be compact enough to carry, but be able to forcibly enter a room in no time (in a SWAT situation). Jim, with his extensive experience in law enforcement and his talent with knife design, took that challenge and in collaboration with Boker Plus, Jim Burke presents the Carnivore Axe. Made from Carbon steel with a powder coat and clad with contoured G-10 scales, the Carnivore is frighteningly effective. Whether with the primary cutting edge or the tip, it bites through a wide variety of materials with ease. The slightly angled shape is the result of biomechanical motion analysis that Jim Burke has researched with those in that field.
