The word "AKATSUKI" means dawn or daybreak in Japanese. This model is the most basic and simple style in the Kanetsune field knife product line. It is ideal for those who want to test Japanese Traditional style knives for the first time. If you take this knife, you can feel our spirit. The blade is made of Japanese "white steel", a high carbon steel (Shirogami steel) produced by Hitachi Metals. The knife also includes a Japanese traditional-style wooden scabbard sheath with leather belt loop.
