The SOG Double Headed Axe is based on the construction and durability of the world renowned Tomahawk. The heavier two edged head is a powerful axe for shaping, splitting and cutting wood and harvesting timber. The SOG Double Headed Ax can appropriately be used in military/LE operations for breaching, extraction, etc. as well.

This SOG's handle is over 14" in length and made of a lightweight, yet strong fiberglass nylon polymer for one or two-handed swings. The ribbed portion extends 5" from the base of the handle for a slip-resistant grip to harness the double headed 420 stainless steel ax. Heavy-duty bolts and a steel ferrule are used in the construction of this SOG ax for superb strength. The included nylon sheath with heavy-duty rivets and snaps allows safe transport of the Double Headed Ax.
