Based on Lucas Burnley's popular design, the Mini Kwaiken has the same build as the regular Kwaiken we're all familiar with, but in a more compact, EDC-friendly size. This model has a premium VG-10 steel blade and black G-10 scales over stainless steel liners. An IKBS ball bearing pivot is standard, along with exemplary action from the flipper opener, which features jimping. The tip-up carry clip is set into the scale, for a fine finished look.

Absolutely perfect for my needs
Seth S.
This is the knife that so many have been asking for since Boker started making Kwaiken knives.

The design was already something that exuded class. There were bugs here and there with previous Boker Plus Kwaikens that appear to have been taken care of with this Mini Kwaiken.

The drop from a 3.5" blade to a 3" blade doesn't sacrifice any usability while making the knife much more pocket friendly. The weight distribution is handled well as I'm able to balance the knife at the middle of the handle when the knife is closed. The knife does come in a bit heavy for its size, but I'm one of the people who equates weight with a solidly built product, which this is.

I was a bit hesitant about the G10 scales being too rough or tactical looking, but it has the texture of something rubberized and it could pass for an ebony scale from a few feet away.

The added jimping to the flipper makes deploying the blade even easier and the IKBS system makes everything buttery smooth.

While I'm sure the Mini Kwaiken could take a beating and hold its own in the great outdoors, this little beauty feels more at home in a suit jacket than a field jacket.
