Description

Description

This model of the Knockout features a stonewashed Elmax steel blade and brown anodized aluminum handle.

It’s a Knockout in more ways than one. The Kershaw Knockout looks great, but the reason it bears this name is that a piece of the lightweight aluminum handle has been “knocked out” and inset with a stainless-steel plate to create a frame lock called the Sub-Frame Lock. You get the lightweight benefits of aluminum handles and the strength of a steel frame lock with integral lockbar stabilization. The Knockout also features SpeedSafe assisted opening. It’s equipped with a deep-carry clip and is drilled for quad-carry: tip-up, tip-down, left- or right-handed.

This knife has to be the deal of the century. Since I got it, I have made it my EDC knife and I really love it.
It is VERY well made - top notch. No blade play at all. The sub-frame lock is tough and very well designed.
Easy to open and easy to close, even one handed.
The best part? The blade snaps out with AUTHORITY. I mean it slams open just like an auto knife. Makes an awesome sound as it locks in place.
The blade finish is quite beautiful and very sharp. Plus it's Elmax!
Kershaw has always made good knives, but this is to be one of their best.
