The Skyline is one of Kershaw's most popular knives and for good reasons: it is slim, pocket-sized and elegant. This Blade HQ Exclusive Skyline is a limited edition run and features custom natural G10 scales, setting it apart from your average Skyline!

The stonewashed blade opens easily with the flipper, using just the index finger of either hand and a flick of the wrist, or use the dual thumb studs. The steel liner lock secures the blade in place. The textured natural G-10 scales offer a secure grip in the hand with a deep index finger groove. Includes a tip-down/up pocket clip. This is a top choice for an everyday carrying knife with its slim handle and great design.

Awesome knife for an awesome price
Joshua B.
The knife is amazing it flips good, it's sharp and it's light weight. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the back spacer is ugly and detracts from the looks of the knife, but that's just me being nitpicky

My lady got me this as a christmas present... I've been collecting knives for years... I have everything from your cold steel tuff lite, to your limited edition quartermasters and 200-500 dollar ZTs and Benchmade blades.

Here it is: This knife is my absolute favorite of them all. Very stiff out of the box, but after about a week of constantly flipping, it broke in fantastically. Ergonomics are incredible, never had a knife fit my hand like this. The steel could be a higher end super steel, but honestly if I didn't know better I'd have guessed it was s35vn (thank god it isn't, sharpening this 14c28n is a dream comparatively). It holds a very good working edge through constant use breaking down cardboard, and never a rust spot to be seen (I live in oregon so thats important, its wet here). For a knife in this price range, I'm blown away... prior to this knife, my 940 was my primary edc... it hasnt been carried since christmas, and probably wont see my pocket for a good while still.
Great knife

My fiancÚ got me this knife over the holidays and I had to make my first comment ever on BladeHQ about this Skyline. I had my doubts about the skyline in general but I was proved wrong. Once out the package, you will love the Jade g10 grip! The flipper opens smoothly. And overall appearance wise, this knife will stand out from your collection. Its just a sexy knife to look at and to carry everyday, you cannot feel it in your pocket, very light weight. There is no blade play/shifting when opened, its attached well. I will eventually buy another one because I like it so much!
Great knife. Even better customer service!!

I will try to keep my review short and sweet. I love this knife! This Kershaw has a great feel in the hand and its candy to the eye. The G-10 scales have a killer look and grip to match. Even better than the knife was BladeHQ's customer service! I had a small issue on the purchase of my order and BladeHQ's staff was quick to fix the problem also they were a pleasure dealing with! If you are going to order a knife that you want to use, feel great in the hand, and look tough doing it, this is the knife for you. Even more so than that this is the place you want to get it from!!
Want to give it 5...

First off, I love the knife. This is the first (and only) Kershaw Skyline I've owned. I have wanted the knife for a while, but I am glad I waited until I saw the undyed G10 version.

The ergonomics are perfect. I love the grip and feel. My problem is how much wrist I need to use to flip it open. Sure, I could loosen it, and/or lube it...But I wish it was spring-assisted or had ball bearings. That aside, I love it.

I love the look, and the feel. Even my mother, who hates knives and is scared of them, admitted that it is beautiful.

Seriously, undyed AKA 'jade' G10 needs to be the default. Black G10 is just boring.

PS: To be nitpicky, I wish the back spacer was also stonewashed steel, like the blade and clip. Being black...Something (don't know if it's G10 also, or what) is an aesthetic failure, IMO.
A stonewashed beauty!

I had to give four stars because the blade was not very sharp out of the box. The flipping action was faster on this version than on the black blade version I also bought from Blade HQ. I bought both versions to give this one away as a gift but I may have to keep them both! The scales have a lot of traction which may wear on a pocket more. The size and weight of this knife are excellent. Another great knife from Kershaw.
Very nice for the price

Picked this up because of the scales. Heard a lot of good things about this blade and they are all true. Slimmest profile out of all the blades I have so it sits in the pocket very nicely. Had to give a little TLC out of the box as it was hard to flip but after a few days this thing flies open like a champ.

Great EDC

Love the Skyline, been carrying it for years as an EDC. This one is no different, just looks really cool with the translucent green scales. Adds a little variety to your EDC and get one.
Seriously get one of these

The Skyline is already a deceptively simple, slim liner lock constructed to high quality. The translucent green G-10 scales provide a distinct postmodern flavor, alternately concealing and hinting at the frame and lock construction. Therefore, the user is challenged to consider this knife as both a simple construction of parts and as a greater functional gestalt of interaction between object, hand, and lighting.
Suburban Tactical

The Kershaw Skyline. Bush crafting knife... no.. Tactical knife... no.. Box cutting, letter opening, apple peeling, sandwich slicing, fishing buddy...yes! Fantastic knife, stainless steel blade and really snazzy looking jade G10 scales. A sharp knife on a couple of levels. Hair shaving sharp out of the box, and easy on the eye. Not to big and not to small. Some folks have complained about the thumb stud being to close to the choil, making it difficult to open. That is true but when you examine the knife closer you see that the thumb studs actually contribute to the stability of the blade, both in the open and closed positions. Overall a real good value for the money. Nice knife that you can actually use everyday
