If you’re part of the knife world, you’ve probably seen "Zero Forks Given" knives, stickers, or patches from Blade HQ floating around. Maybe you’ve wondered: Why forks? Why now?

Here’s the short version:
It’s a silly response to a serious problem—social media censorship.

In This Article

The Real Problem: Censorship

Over the past few years, knife-related content has been getting flagged, buried, or banned on major platforms. Knife makers, influencers, and retailers like us have been shadow banned, had posts removed, or flat-out kicked off.

Case in point: A buddy of mine made a new Instagram account just to follow knife brands—no posts, no comments—and it was deleted within 24 hours.

Most of this isn’t manual moderation—it’s algorithms with no context and no accountability. We’ve talked to reps who claim these aren’t intentional bans… but the systems are still punishing the knife world. And that world includes:

  • Cultures with deep blade traditions
  • Makers who depend on knives to make a living
  • Chefs, first responders, outdoorsmen—people who use knives

The censorship hurts. So, we responded the best way we know how:

With absurdity.

The Forks Must Fall: The Zero Forks Movement

We learned something strange:
Say "knife" and the algorithm shuts you down.
Say "fork" and… nothing

So, we launched Zero Forks Given—a movement full of fork-hating satire that flies under the algorithm’s radar. It’s funny. It’s weird. It makes people curious. And when they follow the rabbit hole, they end up here.

Just to be clear:
We don’t sell forks.
We sell knives. Zero forks given.
Now you’re getting it.

Big Fork: The Enemy We Invented

To rally people, you need a villain. So, we created Big Fork—a stand-in for Big Tech, Big Government, Big Whatever that wants everyone to shut up and eat quietly with mass-produced utensils.

In our world, Big Fork represents the systems suppressing knife content and rewriting the narrative.

"One fork fits all"?
Not here.

It’s ridiculous—but so is banning knife content.

The Gear (and the Brands That Back It)

Zero Forks has spawned a whole line of exclusive gear: coins, patches, shirts, and knives.

And many more…

They’ve all jumped in—they’ve been hit by the censorship too.

So, when they saw what we were doing, they said, "Fork it. Let’s go." Buying Zero Forks gear is more than picking up cool stuff—it’s a cheeky stand for free expression in the knife world.

The Final Cut

At Blade HQ, we love knives.
We sell them. We celebrate them. And we’re not going to let an algorithm bury them.

We’re not going quiet.
We’re not giving up.
We’re giving zero forks.
