About the Demko AD20.5
The Demko AD20.5 builds on Andrew Demko’s flagship AD20 design, bringing its signature Shark-Lock to a smaller, thinner, more affordable everyday carry knife.
Made in Taiwan, the AD20.5 offers Demko’s distinctive design in a wide range of blade steels and handle materials.
The Shark-Lock’s spine-mounted actuator fin lets you release the blade without placing your fingers in its closing path.
How to Choose Your AD20.5
Blade - The Clip Point offers a fine point for detail work, the Shark Foot favors controlled utility cuts over piercing, and the Slicer removes the thumb studs and has a symmetrical profile.
Handle - Grivory is lightweight and affordable while remaining extremely strong; G-10 is even stronger but more expensive to shape. At the top of the line, carbon fiber and titanium look great and offer unparalleled strength.
Steel - D2 offers solid edge retention and is cheap, but it's not stainless; AUS-10A is an affordable, more balanced option; CPM S35VN is a premium steel with high marks in all stats, and CPM 3V offers exceptional toughness and solid edge retention at the cost of some stainlessness.
