It was there that Corey developed a deep respect for performance, edge retention, balance, and reliability. Over time, his focus shifted from what knives could accomplish to how and why they worked, sparking a lifelong pursuit of cutlery itself.

That curiosity led Corey to sharpening, studying, repairing, and selling knives, building an uncommon depth of hands-on knowledge. Having sharpened more than 100,000 knives, he possesses an intimate understanding of steel, geometry, and edge behavior that few makers can claim. This foundation now informs every blade he creates.
