The Adler Super Splitter is a large splitting maul with a 31.5" handle and a 6.2 lb. head. The handle is outfitted with a steel collar to protect the handle in the event of overstrike.
While relatively new to the American market, Adler axes have been made in Germany since 1919 when village blacksmith Josef Schmitt set out to make high quality steel products with great heat treats, and has since grown. Now, the company is run by his descendants, who still strive to make great axes with environmental sustainability in mind.
