The Adler Yankee axe is a full-sized axe with a 3.5 lb head. This large axe is designed for felling medium to large trees and being a general use axe around the farm or camp. This axe comes with a heavy-duty leather sheath.

While relatively new to the American market, Adler axes have been made in Germany since 1919 when village blacksmith Josef Schmitt set out to make high quality steel products with great heat treats, and has since grown. Now, the company is run by his descendants, who still strive to make great axes with environmental sustainability in mind.
