Sharp out of the box
sean c.
I had a friend pick me up one of these and it is sharp as a laser. I've never owned anything this sharp. Fit and finish is amazing and you can really tell it's a custom knife. Sheath locks up real tight and the clip is just perfect. I had no problem clipping it to my jeans or shirt pocket and am using it now as a neck knife. I sent an email to rob to ask about making a mole pack sheath and he answered back with in minutes. This knife is a bargain in the custom knife world.
Useful but not fully developed

This blade is unique in that I have not seen anything else like it. It comes very sharp out of the box (bag). The Kydex sheath fits very securely so it requires a firm tug to deploy the blade. It has a pocket clip but I found it very difficult to actually clip to my pocket. It requires very thin pant material to work. With jeans, it is next to impossible to pocket clip. Seems mostly like a neck knife carry only. It is quite small like most of Amsler's designs. It could really stand to be a inch or two longer to be usable in a defensive situation. To me this is mainly just a unique box cutter/utility knife. I haven't sharpened it yet but I would imagine it is not easy to sharpen due to it's razor style blade shape and short length. Also there is no Tritium installed in this one. Amsler advertises this knife on Youtube as including a Tritium vial pre-installed. So be aware that even though you are paying full retail price you do not get the Tritium vial with it.
