From BRS E-Volve comes the Navajo folding knife, designed in collaboration with Dervish Knives and John Gonzalez. Its a mid-sized folder with sweet action, a lightweight build, and tons of cutting power. BRS wasnt playing around when they designed this model. It boasts some of the knife worlds best materials: Bohler M390 stainless steel, sturdy titanium, and lightweight G-10. The knife is easy to carry and a joy to open and close, its quality build promising years of utility.
BRS E-Volve knives are propose-built, premium EDC cutters available in an array of unique, functional design.
The action is silk. Everything on the knife is fished extremely well. I can't stop carrying it
At $160.00 this thing punches way above its price point. One of the nicest surprises of the year. I was always a fan of the Dervish Navajo design but couldn't find and/or afford one when they rarely came up for sale. This BRS version is far, far nicer than I expected. I bought the green G10 model. First impressions are excellent. Build is flawless. Perfect centering, detent perfectly tuned for thumb sweeping and flicking open, edge is wicked sharp right out of the box. Smooth bearing pivot. Sometimes bearings don't work well sans flipper, this one works very well. Grinds are even. While technically a "liner lock", the thick Ti liners make it more of a frame lock with overlays. Stout lock up. Clip is excellent. Clearly, attention was paid to the details. Compact package packs lot of blade to the handle. My average sized hand fits the handle just fine but those with extra large mitts might find the handle a bit short. Otherwise, it's a great design with premium materials executed flawlessly. Nice job BRS. Highly recommend.
