The BRS Replicant is designed by and for flippers, and it is as devout to the sport as you are. Featuring titanium liners with lightly textured carbon fiber scales for better grip. The recognizable Scorpion Tip Tanto blade rounds out the knife, making the Replicant a truly refined tool.
Don't confuse the Replicant with other run-of the-mill balisongs on the market. Much like its predecessor the Alpha Beast, the Replicant has been bioengineered for superior agility, dynamics and performance.
BladeRunnerS Systems (or -=BRS=-) is a company founded by balisong manipulators and knife/gear enthusiasts. Their mission is to produce high performance balisongs and gear with a design philosophy centered around performance, precision and quality. "For us it has to be right and has to flip right, we are performance grade, competition ready, battle tested...and looking forward to earning your business."
Customer Reviews
Much love have a good life.
Pros:
-Razor sharp and ready to flip out of the box.
-Amazing flipper.
-Carbon fiber handles look and feel great.
-BRS signature latch can't get stuck in between handles, if you choose not to remove it.
-On the light side, but nowhere near as light as a BM51.
-Blade is absolutely gorgeous.
-BladeHQ is great to order from as always.
Cons:
-A bit pricier for a small upgrade.
P.s. for real though, wow flips awesome. If still in stock grab one from knife center while you can
Cons: Fit and finish is almost perfect though I noticed some machining marks near the chevrons. Fortunately it's difficult to notice unless pointed out and observed closely.

Once I got in my hands I looked it over really careful, I had seen some past tuber reviews with build quality so I was skeptical.
The blade is very sharp out of the box with a nice finish on the bevel .
The stonewash finish from the blade to the liners is consistent , I looked in side the carbon liners contours and holes could see the same consistency stonewash on the liners inside to.
No burrs in the carbon fiber holes.
The screws were consistent, no unusual blemishes on the sex bolts same color , the torx screws were also consistent shinny Crome finish.
The latch swings freely no binding a small blemish on the shaft from opening and closing .
Started to flip and the pivots had a tight tolerance , put some synthetic oil, less than a drop on each pivot and after 20 mins the handles were swinging the way I like .
Balance ... I have the barebones stainless trainer ... not at all in a negative way but the carbon replicant is on the other side of the universe ... barebones swings like a giant pendulum ... the carbon rep much lighter and the momentum is neutral in the handles. so less stress when doing stuff like the mernax / choker fan .
It has that techie feel and sound ... in hand .
Just my personal taste .. the carbon has better grip in hand than ti or stainless.
I’ll be flipping and i can instantly tell when I’m on the bite because it feels cooler in my hand .
I’ve got the ti pocket clip for the rep on my wish list ,
I’m gonna fool around an put it on the safe handle see what happens.
The guys at BRS are putting out a great product .👍😎👌
