Add some undeniable BRS quality to your everyday carry line-up with the Warhead automatic knife.
Features:This is the first auto offering from BRS and it’s excellent. Extremely snappy, smooth action with a very sharp blade. It’s light weight and easy to carry/edc but still has a large enough blade for cutting tasks. I’ve always been a huge brs balisong fan and their other styles of knives are just as impressive.
I like the knife, size, shape, feel. But when you activate the button the blade snaps open and past the lock point so you have a loose blade. I've cut myself because of this. I reached out to the maker and they told me the problem is in how I'm pushing the button, that you have to push it quickly, which I try to do. It has also opened a couple times in my pocket. So the knife now lives in my gun safe where it will stay. In my opinion the spring is too strong and fast and the blade does not have to open as quickly where the weight of the blade causes it to bounce past open into a dangerous unlocked position. My Benchmade presidio has never done what this knife does, but the Benchmade opens much slower.
the button requires very little pressure to deploy. it is on a hair trigger. pocket clip is so tight it makes carry almost impossible. it sits right on the cut out from milling of the handle, added with the insane retention, and it just makes the entire thing ridiculous. save your money and get another auto.
