I very much enjoy this knife . It came early and it’s beautiful so very sharp and honestly it’s good for grip. But there was one thing that made me give it a 4 star instead of a 5... when it asked me at the last part of I wanted to put a little not in it, I asked for it to put,” congratulations buddy, it’s all yours :)”. But it didn’t have it . Busy still a beautiful great first knife for any balisong person!!
This balisong is good as a beginner knife. It has good weight and a nice action. Pros: - G-10 handles feel soo good. - flips pretty good out of the box - decently cheap - good quality Cons: - needs loctite - the handles are a little rough - I stabbed myself - latch isn't spring loaded.
I love the knife and it feels amazing! Came hair-shaving sharp and smooth as butter. Just a few little things to say: (1)The handles aren't totally even with each other and I have to move the safe handle a bit to get the latch in. (2) The stop pins are a tiny bit loose. (3) The plunge line on the blade is off by a bit. (4) The tip grind isn't done all the way but it actually gives it an advantage with grabbing whatever the tip is cutting. Overall it's an amazing knife for the price and I love it. Thanks Blade HQ for everything!
The knife arrived sooner than I thought and I was exited to get it. It’s easy to flip and has an good weight to it however my only disappointment is that it’s not really sharp
This is not my first knife nor is it my first butterfly knife. I was looking for a decent butterfly that I was not worried about using but something better than a $30 china knife. Well I got a $30 china knife that is made in the US. The quality of this knife is terrible. First the center stoppers were loose and fell out after me opening it a few times right after I got it. I know how to open a butterfly which is fast and aggressive. So parts flying off 5 minutes after opening the box doesn't make one happy. So I fixed that issue. The blade may cut softened butter but not much more. It seems to only have a rough grind on it. No final sharpening or polish on the edge. The blade coating is thick and reminds me of line-x coating in the bed of my truck. This makes it look and feel even cheaper. The grips are the best part of this knife and one reason I bought it. The rest of the knife is garbage and I will never buy this brand again. It is that bad. Not worth half the price it is. Maybe worth $20-$30.
It was great at first. Took a little while to get used to the weight and awkward shape and finish, but had fun once I did. The blade was never that good and dulled quick. soon after buying it the tip broke off. a few months ago one of the little stopers fell of and i couldnt find it. Just now though to check for replacements but no they sell none. Over all it ended up being a bit of a waste of money.
I can’t explain how disappointed i am in this product. For around $90 i did not expect the stoppers to fall out within a few days just from flipping it. The grips already seemed as if they were battle worn with many scuff marks. The knife came in dull and already felt pretty cheap. Ive used a $20 “butterfly comb”, and it flipped, felt, and lasted as much as 2 years before breaking down (with many drops). I extremely do not recommend this product.
