OK Flipper. Poor Blade
Michael P.
Had this for a couple of years. I flip it occasionally along with my other balisongs. Flips OK. For the price, its fairly decent. Pretty evenly balanced. Snappy and quick. Make sure to loc-tite the screws as they WILL come loose and dislodge quickly.

My biggest complaint is the steel.Had plans to make this an actual user..The problem is, I cannot really get a good edge on this blade. Never was able to. Hand sharpening, Lanksy, Edge Pro etc...just won't take or hold a fine edge. I attribute this to a very poor heat treatment. In short, the steel on my blade is garbage and I have seen better steel on $9 truck stops knives.

Other than that, if you just want a fairly decent flipper without having to spend top dollar for a premium balisong, its not bad. Its not a BRS Infinity, but it will do for most beginners or casual flippers. Just make sure to loc-tite those screws...If you are looking for a balisong to use instead of flip, look elsewhere.
Feels Good and is REAL quiet

for $89 this knife holds up hold up quite well. The knife is very easy to do tricks on (including advanced tricks) . The trainer is OK but everything else is absolutely superb.
Great for beginners

This is my first balisong and so far I love it. The G-10 handles are very grippy and it flips smoothly.
Its a good knife

I got this knife and replaced the real blade with the trainer. It works well for me (an
Intermediate/beginner at flipping) and is a definite improvement from ccc trainers. It has good balance and weight, its durable and flips pretty smooth. Ive had it for three days and have had to tighten the screws once as the come loose with extended use. So far that is my only complaint. I would recomend this knife to anyone at around my skill level looking to practice with a trainer or live blade.
