Absolutely My Favorite Knife. Wish I could give more Stars
James D.
I have the Mini Barrage with the stainless steel top. I am pretty sure they discontinued that one so I will write my review on this one. I currently have a lot of "premium" EDC knives. From other Benchmades to Spyderco to Kershaw. But I must say, This is my absolute favorite knife. I have carried it in my pocket for 2+ years and I have yet to find a knife to compete it in my opinion for EDC. The blade length is perfect and the edge retention is amazing. I was in a situation and needed to open up some soup cans for some people and the knife did dull, but was still able to keep cutting after all 4 cans (not well though). The action is unparalleled and is so smooth. One small flick and the blade is ready to go. Though it is small, it fits in the hand well and the G-10 gives a nice grip. Lastly, Benchmade is an amazing company. You can ship your knife to them and they will put a factory edge on it, which gives you a nice clean shave, and do any maintenance required to keep your knife running. I sharpen my knives myself and find the knife not easy to sharpen but that may be due to my blade being made of M390 rather than 154CM. But I can put a razor edge on it myself with a Lansky system. In conclusion, if you want an amazing EDC knife that will last you through the years, buy this knife!
Great EDC

This is a great knife from a great company. Blade length is awesome for pocket carry and does not take up too much room in the pocket. The assist spring is very fast and will not disappoint. The only improvement I would make to the Knife is a less plastic feeling handle material. I believe you can get this knife with g10 scales now though. Overall it is a great EDC knife.
Great company and great knife

This little yet mighty knife is beefy and fills the hand and I don't have dainty hands (L-XL glove). It has a very solid lock up and also has a locking switch or lever on the back that can be engaged when the knife is open or closed to secure it in the pocket or hand but keep a good grip when opening this little beast has a kick to it.
Great knife

I really like this knife, it has solid lock up and the axis lock rocks. I do believe that my other non spring assisted benchmades are smother opening.
Snappy Solid Knife

Great assisted action, awesome easy to sharpen steal, and nice ergonomics!

There’s definitely a lacking of jimping on the knife, but the finger choils milled into the plastic are great and the plastic itself is pretty grippy. And yes the arrow clip is honestly terrible. It looks bad and gets snagged on everything. Request deep carry!
Great Knife

This thing is excellent. It feels so good in hand. I love the blade shape compared to the full size model. Also this is very easy to close with one hand and lock up is rock solid. If you are deciding between this and the mini grip, do yourself a favor and choose this one. The only con is the split arrow clip. It looks funny but functions very well. This can easily be changed with a call to benchmade for a different one.
You will not be disappointed

The mini barrage is a fantastic blade. The steel holds a great edge and is pretty easy to sharpen mine easily get razor sharp and will shave hair.. The lock up and knife in general are solid, I'm put many hard miles on mine in the 3 years of use and it's no where close to tired... Easy one hand operation smooth action, great great knife
Solid knife

This is a great little Benchmade EDC knife. Solid construction, very well thought out. The spring assist is a bit strong, making it somewhat of a two hand closer, but otherwise very solid.

One small detail I really like on Benchmades are the rotating thumb studs. They are well thought out and work exceptionally.

For the price, this is a great Benchmade example that can serve as a daily duty knife.
