This knife is a workhorse
Patrick C.
This knife is the knife you buy if you are an actual working man. I have put this knife through the grinder over the past year and I grab this before any other knife when I walk out the door because I know it will take everything i throw at it and be ready for more. It's not a prybar if that's what your looking for buy a damn prybar. But if your looking for an excellent hard use knife you have found it.
One of Benchmadeís best tactical style blades.

This is definitely one of my favorite Benchmades. The M4 steel holds an edge forever, the Axis lock is strong and easy to use, and the fit and finish on mine is very nice. Furthermore, the traction and feel in the hand, while definitely aggressive, are as good as anything I've held in quite awhile. As such, where it also seems relatively light for its definitely large size, this one is definitely worth checking out for someone interested in a tactical style EDC

This knife is HUGE, the handle scales are very rough, itís a decent user but it could use a stronger pocket clip. Itís big but the axis lock makes it feel not so tough, over all decent but wouldnt feel comfortable depending on it for serious hard use and abuse like I would an Emerson.
A Serious Tool

Just getting this knife in hand, one can tell it was built to last. It is a large and heavy blade with excellent action. The Osborne design M4 blade was built to cut!
I find the scales to be very grippy which is a good thing in my book.
It's great for EDC for manual work although I'd probably switch to a smaller knife for office work. Keep the blade and pivot lubricated and it should last a lifetime.
excellent EDC

My first Benchmade. Contrary to some reviews I find the G10 handle to be perfect
as is the gimping.
The M4 steel is very hard and holds an edge. The clip is in exactly the right spot to allow the knife to ride well down in the pocket. The AXIS locking mechanism works great. I don't know why anyone would need assisted opening. With little practice I was able to flip open the blade in a flash. Spring assist? Too many moving parts for me.
Blade design? Can't have everything. I'm sure as a self defense knife it would suffice but it isn't designed as a penetrator. Overall 5 stars as an EDC folder from Benchmade
One of my favorite

I have edc'ed this for about 2 years. Does need some work to it to make it perfect for me.
Filed down jimping and smoothed out the handles. LOVE M4!!. Super tuff and reliable
Tears up your pockets!

Great knife! Donít carry it as much as I should. Like I said, itís aggressive G10 handle will eventually tear up your pockets constantly showing all your friends or enemies this great AMERICAN standard. Only ding is the blade is tough to get back into shape, but it takes a lot of abuse. Would love to have it as fixed blade also!
Favourite folder

Absolutely love this folder great length, very versatile
Knife freaking rocks
This is one of my all time favorite knives, hands down. Looks good, carries securely, big blade, great in hand. My only knock is the steel choice. M4 is highly highly highly rust resistant. Yes, the knife is cerakoted, but the most important part (the edge) isnt. I've had to stop carrying this knife in the summer because being in my sweaty pocket all day kills the edge. I'm constantly needing to touch it up. Not to mention, M4 is a pain to sharpen (even to touch up). Still, don't hesitate. Well-worth the glitchy steel! Buy two!
Great knife
This is my 5th Benchmade and as always it's awesome. The g10 is cut pretty rough which is OK almost abrasive in your hand when new. The weight of the blade is quite a heft when flipping out and the factory bushing tension on the blade is pretty loose. Once it's set in and lubed a bit, just snug the retention bolt and all blade wiggle will cease. Overall great product and company to order it from as expected from previous purchases. And yes as other reviews state the glass breaker is pretty cheesy, but if it came to extracting someone in an emergency it probably would work.
Love this knife!!

Light, has a huge blade from great steel and is very light. Don't think I'd count on the silly little glass breaker but this is my go to Edc/self defense knife. Love it!!!
Very good working knife

Just got mine with a fast shipping from Blade HQ, just wanna say I am a fan of Benchmade , not a huge fan , I think this knife does good job judging the materials, ergonomics , price, size, overall highly recommended . The jimping is just fine for me ,very good , may need to wear a glove for heavy duty job. Would've been perfect to have an extra screw for the handle scales for more resistance of it , besides those 2 already there ,but is ok without that anyway.
Overall go for this knife , dont forget the size though . Personal I like the knife and I will use it for whatever I need . Thank you.
