Benchmade teamed up with Exotac to create a ferro rod that would work in tandem with the Benchmade Bushcrafter and Puukko sheaths. The striker rod is replaceable and works even when wet. Comes with two pieces of quickLIGHT™ waterproof tinder.
If you own a puukko and are still using the factory sheath then you need this fire rod. It fits perfectly in the holder on the sheath and this thing has a place for tinder inside the cap.
