Good Tool For The $$$ But No Benchmade
Greg E.
This is a good product for the price, but don't be fooled into thinking you're getting anything near Benchmade quality. They didn't even stamp their logo on it. It's possibly the laziest attempt I've seen by a company like Benchmade to rebrand a knife that's clearly not up to snuff with it's reputation. That being said, although thankfully I've never needed it, I'm confident this tool can still do what it's supposed to. The handle is cheap and plasticy feeling, but certainly more than adequate for a single-use item. The belt cutter backlocks, in case you were worried about it falling apart from cutting a seatbelt. The flashlight isn't much better than a little keychain LED one, but, hey, it's a flashlight, and in a real emergency you'd probably be glad to have one at hand. It's purpose built for escaping (or rescuing someone) from being trapped in a vehicle, and nothing else. I also keep a ProTech Godfather in my car in case some psycho follows me home or tries to carjack me or something.

TLDR: Not up to usual Benchmade quality, but for 20 bucks you can have peace of mind that you won't die trapped in a burning car.
great little tool

i bought this to keep in my wifes durango and its a great multipurpose tool , spring loaded glass breaker and super sharp seatbelt cutter plus a built in light and on sale for 22 bucks theres no reason to not have one for just in case
Overpaying for the Butterfly!

Nice multitool, but you could get any other emergency tool for about 4$(and it's still from china anyways). But you pay for the brand and it still works the same and looks alot nicer than some ugly unbranded orange one.
Carry in my truck for E.

Leave in my cup holder for just in case, seatbelt cutter and glass breaker.
Smart tool.

This tool is well thought out. The glass breaker is spring loaded and deploys when the button is pressed firmly against the glass. Seems much safer in an emergent condition the just swinging the breaker against the glass and risking your hands being cut up.
Buyer Beware - NOT USA MADE (corrected, see edit)
Norman R.
First off, product is solid built, quality you would expect benchmade to stand behind.

Problem here is Bladehq has this listed as USA origin, which is wrong and I am disappointed in that. Box says its made in china, says china right on the scales.

Not american made, buyer beware.

Edit: Blade HQ has corrected the webpage to include it's Chinese origin. Stars changed to reflect satisfaction with the product.
