Ambidextrous operation is also seen in the reversible tip-up carry pocket clip.

Customer Reviews

Amazing
Tucker c. on Jan 19, 2018

This knife is awesome. I skinned a deer with it just a few days after I bought it and it did great. The blade was still razor sharp afterwards and the wood grips never got slippery when covered in blood. It’s also makes for a great EDC knife, I use it every day.

Most carried knife I own
Jacob L. on Jan 5, 2018

This blade sets the standard for what a good pocket knife should be: perfect size, high quality, classy look, great feel. This is my most carried blade for EDC and Outdoor use. Can't recommend enough!

An absolutely beautiful blade
Nathan C. on Sep 10, 2018

Very smooth and lightweight, the North fork is is a favorite benchmade. Very ergonomic wood handles are very comfortable and the axis lock is very easy to use. A great blade for edc. Though a little bit pricy, it is still a favorite of mine.

Great knife
Caleb F. on Apr 9, 2016

I have carried this knife every day for over a year, and have used it for just about everything from opening boxes and whittling sticks to shaving and carving my initials into a tree. The knife is up for any task, but it is not too intimidating to use in public settings. In fact, I have carried it in formal settings as well as in everyday and hike/camp situations. I have found that the knife loses its razor edge rather quickly, but it holds a working edge for a very long time. I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for a high quality, versatile blade.

Smooth
Jake L. on Dec 2, 2016

Love the size and profile of this knife. Steal can't be beat either. Wood handle is classy and feels great. Very smooth opening and closing with solid axis lock. One of my favorites.

Great little knife
Brian M. on Jan 20, 2018

I love the dymondwood handle, it looks much less orange than in the picture. I love the axis lock( I have a couple of others too). That being said, the lock bar on this knife is a little rougher than on my others making it slightly less smooth. That is me being really picky though. This little gem still earns all of it's five stars. It is a great slicer, and holds it's edge really well. I've cut up more than a few steaks at restaurants with it and it slides right through the meat instead of tearing it like the cheap steak knives at most places do.

Classy EDC
Tyler K. on Jan 6, 2018

Amazing folding knife from Benchmade. Razor sharp, I love the S30V blade, small enough to make a great EDC, big enough to still be proud of. The handle scales look very classy. Not only is this great for hunting but also for EDC and pretty much anything else you need.

Best out there for everything
Cole M. on Aug 28, 2018

the reason i love this knife so much is because of its versatility it is a great knife for camping everday cary and is very classy highly suggest buying

Great Blade
Jonathan P. on May 30, 2016

I was given this knife by my father as a gift. It is very well constructed and comes very sharp out of box. It is basically the same size as a griptilian, but with flow through construction, better scales and steel. This is a clear win for Benchmade in my opinion.

Love this knife
Gary L. on Dec 2, 2017

I spent along time picking and reading reviews, and man this knife is amazing. Will be primarily for EDC, hiking camping. I wanted under 3 inches to avoid some county laws on length, and its handle is not too small for a big guy. the metals and design and pure beauty drew me to it. As an engineer I am picking and critical on quality, this thing is a beauty, everything is dead on perfect.

Truly a gentleman carry
Luis S. on Oct 15, 2018

I got the knife by chance and it ended up being one of my favorite. It even gets more pocket time than my 940 and my Para 2. Its light weight, easy to carry and not threatening to non knife people. The recurve its a pain to sharpen but it makes it a much better cutter. My only complain is the blade thickness, a little bit to much for the blade size. I would definitely recommend the North Fork!

One of my favorites from my collection but..
Coltin H. on Jul 21, 2019

This knife was a gift for Xmas and has been something i will keep for a long time. i love carrying it and it is so slicey it is ridiculous. the problem i have is Benchmade themselves. poor QC leaves me with sloppy centering on the blade and blade play that always returns. i would rate less but i just love the knife in general. i will say this probably is not for everyone and I would try to handle one before buying because you may just love it.

Nice Knife
Alan K. on Jan 5, 2018

Purchased this for an EDC. Took it out of the box and liked it a lot. However the handle is a bit thin in my hand for comfort. Will probably be returning this one.

Was expecting more.
Tony W. on Jan 30, 2020

This was my first benchmade purchase so I had high expectations. Everything aesthetically about this knife appealed to me. Its a bit weird but I love the smell of it, its really pronounced after getting wet. Some things I disliked are there is a little play in the blade and it struggled cutting an apple. To me, it's a gentleman's folder but, I would be hesitant to put to through some real work.

Compact Knife in the Field and Office
Charlie T. on Oct 6, 2020

I bought this knife for my dad. He loves it. The wooden handles give it a sense of classiness while still being hardy with that s30v blade. It is a bit small, so for my large hands, it is not so great, but my dad has smaller hands and loves it! He says he feels like a true mountain man...
