For my first Benchmade, this thing is quite slick and light. This is now my main EDC knife. Make sure to oil it every now and then to prevent rust, as the blade is made of D2 steel which can corrode relatively easily.

It’s a tactical and stabby, long blade. This knife opens well, it takes me a second with the long handle, but with the blade length, it has to be. Nice to have a different offering from Benchmade.
I have been using this as an everyday carry for about three weeks. Although the knife is very long both overall and blade length it is extremely comfortable in the front pocket and draws very smoothly and quickly. I favor the standard clip as the quick draw is a little tight. This is the first knife i have owned with a D2 blade and after putting it through some tough tests have found it to very good at holding an edge and sharpens back up very nicely on a diamond sharpener. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the handle. It feels too flat and is slightly awkward in my hand. This is a personal preference thing which is why i still gave it 5 stars. The glass breaker is also a very good feature.
